Has anyone played 1000 Miles on RS games yet? Is it the same game that's on Playroom? I had trouble with Playroom last time I tried to sign in, so I never got to play 1000 Miles on there. It sounds pretty fun though.

yeah- i can show you how to play if you like... it's the exact same game on playroom. i played a few times this morning, sounds not as good as the playroom version but it's not the point because the game is awsome.

To me the sounds are a whole lot better but I like playroom's version because they have the nonstandardized cards.

i think their needs to be more of some cards. repair cards and gas cards hardly ever come up.

This game is based on a French card game my family used to play. I don't know how the distribution of the 'repair', 'gas', and 'green light' cards compares with the original, but, one can sure get stuck in some very-long red lights. In general, RS did a nice job on this one, as with their other titles. RS gets extra props for being multi-platform (including web site play). When Playroom and All In Play let me login from my non-Windows machines, I can give them a try.

I prefer the playroom version, but yep, as someone stated, the sounds on RS games are a bit better, more funny anyways. And I agree, they should put the non-standardized cards in, and for some reason the game in RS games lasts so much longer, maybe it has something to do how the cards are being shuffled. Like, instead of only the junk pile being shuffled, all cards are shuffled again. Anyways I do like both versions. Playroom seems a little faster though.
